The short, honest version.
We collect the least we can, we use it to build Lap One, and we don't sell it. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
When you join the founding list, we store your email, ZIP code, and your answers to a few questions (what would bring you in, how often, and your reaction to the price). If you fill in the investor-interest form, we store your name, email, an optional range, and any note you leave.
If you request an RC party or ask us to bring a pop-up to your area, we store your email, ZIP, your pricing preference, and — for a party — your name, an optional event date, and a rough number of kids. We never ask for a child's name or personal details.
We also record which ad or link brought you here (UTM tags and referrer) and the country your request came from.
Why we collect it
To decide whether to open Lap One, where to open it, and what to build. Your ZIP tells us where demand is. Your price reaction tells us if the model works. The ad tags tell us which message resonated. That's the whole job.
How we use it
- To email you a confirmation and, later, news about opening.
- To count and understand demand in aggregate.
- To reach out about mobile parties if you asked for one.
We do not run a marketing drip, and we will not add you to unrelated lists.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent, or trade your data. We don't share it with advertisers. Investor interest is kept separate from the waitlist and is never used for marketing.
Advertising measurement
On our RC party and pop-up pages we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads work — it records page views and form submissions so we can tell which ad brought you. Prefer not to be measured? An ad or privacy blocker stops it, and it won't affect your signup either way.
Who processes it
The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, bot protection). Confirmation email is sent through our email provider. Anonymous, aggregate traffic stats come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or fingerprint you. Ad-performance measurement on the RC pages is handled by Meta (Facebook).
